Frolf & Fish

Not really a part of our Vietnam Alphabet but coulda been a contender for F.

Often, on Sunday afternoons a buddy of mine gets a group together to play Frisbee golf (Frolf). We start at his place with some beers then take some coolers and Frisbees and head out into our neighborhood, making up the course as we go.

The locals do now know what to do with us. Often security asks us to stop or simply follow us around on their bikes watching. After throwing, friendly folks often pick up our Frisbees for us and start to walk them back. They must think it very odd when we wave our hands and ask them to put them down. One time we started from my buddy's apartment on the fourth floor. The first hole was off his balcony down to a tree in a park below. We all threw and then headed down. When we got there a woman working in the park had neatly stacked all our Frisbees for us. If we ever run out of beer, women on motorbikes who patrol the area selling drinks, will replenish our stock. Pretty amazing.

Mid course (about 15 holes in) last weekend we found a great stone table behind someone's house and stopped to rest.

This next shot is just a photo I liked. It is of a woman selling goldfish off the back of here motorbike. There's so much we'll miss about this place.
